Neumann U87 (1982)

Just back from a service with POM. Electronics serviced and capsule cleaned a year or so back, also by POM. Sounding glorious for a 41 year old mic! (despite its physical condition). Comparing to other serial numbers this one is likely to be made around 1982. It is the XLR version. 

Condition: Fair - sadly the physical condition doesn’t match the sonic condition! It’s been sprayed black at some point. The previous owner said it came from a TV company and he assumed it was to disguise the mic for broadcast use. It has a few dents and bruises as you can see in the photos. Priced accordingly. 
Accessories: Original leather case and EA87 suspension mount.
