Selling your gear can be a real headache, especially with the high fees and hassles of third-party platforms, not to mention dealing with time-wasting tire kickers, complainers, and scammers. When you sell your gear to us, you'll receive a fair price with zero hassle.

If you're looking to sell your gear, please take a moment to fill out the form below, and we'll provide you with a quote. To ensure we give you a fair price, please provide us with as much information as possible about your gear. Before submitting, please take note of the following:

WHAT WE BUY:

  • Microphones
  • Outboard gear
  • Small format consoles
  • Synths and drum machines
  • Studio monitors - preferably boxed
  • Most things related to the above categories

WHAT WE DON'T BUY:

  • Large format consoles.
  • Tape machines.
  • Acoustic treatment or studio furniture.
  • Legacy or unsupported audio interfaces (Firewire, PCIe, etc.).
  • Software.
  • Musical instruments such as drums, guitars, pianos, or related items.
  • Hi-fi equipment, unless it's specific amplifiers (Quad, Bryston, etc.).
  • DJ or PA equipment.
  • Cheap prosumer equipment (below £100 in value)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

  • We ONLY accept submissions from sellers based within the UK. The unpredictability and expense post-Brexit make it unviable at the moment.
  • We require all gear to be sent to us for inspection and testing. Once our technicians have verified that the items are in the described working condition, payment will be issued. Any faulty items can be quoted for repair or returned at the owner's expense.
  • To ensure the safety of our community, ID CHECKS are essential for new sellers.
  • We do not engage in commission sales, except for existing customers and specific items. If you prefer to broker your gear, please contact Hamish at MJQ.
  • RECOMMENDED COURIERS: Proper packaging and using our preferred delivery agents, Royal Mail or DPD, will reduce the risk of damage to your item during transit. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any damage incurred while your gear is being sent to us for assessment. We can provide suitable packaging and materials at an additional cost.
