Altec 438A (Modded by Dave Way)

A classic Altec unit! Recently serviced and modded by Dave Way. Mods include:

• Release and Threshold added as per the Altec "436C" revision.
• Valve balance/bias adjustment pot added
• Stepped output attenuation in 5db increments as per RS124 Spec.
• Mic input and 12AY7 valve disconnected and isolated (no mic input) allowing the line input to be fully balanced as per "436C" spec
